The Perfect Houseguest

Carol is visiting from Texas and testing out our newly furnished guest room. She volunteered and I jumped at the chance to have someone paint our twenty year old vintage beige walls something a little more interesting. The results are truly stunning. I've half jokingly suggested that she make this an annual event. The hallway upstairs is now a beautiful shade of warm tan and the back bedroom is a very calming gray-blue. I've discovered that making a decision on the color is half the battle. This week is going by way to fast.

Merlin insisted on climbing the ladder every chance he could and spent most of the day "supervising" the painting operation.
